New Release Information: SocialSafe v3

Last week we released a new update for SocialSafe – your social journal treasured forever. Version 3 contains many updates including the launch of SocialSafe standard, which allows backup of a single Facebook or Twitter feed. So if you only use one or the other, you can have access to all of the features of a Pro licence, but for either Facebook or Twitter. This is reflected in the price of £2.49 for SocialSafe Standard, compared with SocialSafe Pro which is available for £4.99 (for prices in US$ and € please see the Try or Buy page on the site).

In terms of the new features, the Edit Licence opportunity allows users of the Free version to easily upgrade to Standard or Pro, and in due course the Enterprise version of the SocialSafe App. We (well, our hardworking developers!) have enhanced the Search box to allow filtering of results between backed up content from Twitter and Facebook, plus theme dependent highlighting of returned results.

Those of you who have not updated since before v2.1 will obviously have many more new features to enjoy, such as the ability to back up Photo Comments, Likes & Tags, an Updated Tweet/Share text and minor UI enhancements and bug fixes. For more information about previous and upcoming releases, visits the Updates page on our site.

As always, we really do appreciate your feedback and suggestions as to how we can keep improving the app and make it as useful and enjoyable as possible for everyone that uses it. Please feel free to add comments below, or alternatively you can find us on Facebook and Twitter, where we can also deal with any support requests and questions.

Many thanks,

The SocialSafe Team.
