Facebook Pages Now Allow Scheduled Posts And Different Admin Roles

Facebook has made some changes to the way brand pages can be run, with scheduled posts and different admin roles improving the experience for page managers. Some say that this is a step in the direction of making services like HootSuite obsolete, but others argue that multi-network control is a very favourable functionality within a service.

A new Facebook help centre page goes into more detail about how the new features work, but here’s a brief overview. There are five different admin roles with varying levels of privileges:

These changes will undoubtedly make things easier for companies and brands to maintain their pages. It’s often the case that too many cooks spoil the broth, so by ring-fencing the different privileges within a team of page admins, page managers should hopefully see a much slicker operation with teams streamlined for the admins’ specific roles.
