SocialSafe v6.4.2 Released – App Updates Plus Christmas Present For Users!!

We’ve just released a new version of SocialSafe featuring some minor bug fixes as well as a few other bits and bobs that people have brought to our attention, but we’ve also included a little festive treat for you all!

Right, let’s get the technical stuff out-of-the-way now… SocialSafe v6.4.2 contains the following changes:

– Ability to update your SocialSafe cover photo
– Patch to retrieve old Facebook Status Updates for existing users
– Patch to fix tweet ID export affecting some users
– Fix for Twitter Sync stall problems reported
– Many small bug fixes & UI improvements

In order to change your SocialSafe cover photo simple go to ‘Profiles’ and select whichever network you’d like your cover picture to be taken from, and your SocialSafe journal will use your current profile picture from that network. (You can tell which network you have selected by the fact that the picture will have a bold box around it.)

Now, onto your festive gift! Once you’ve updated to v6.4.2, go to ‘Themes’ from the Settings menu, you’ll notice that Santa has snuck a couple of extra options in there for you! So if you want to get into the Christmas spirit, you can update your SocialSafe journal theme to our seasonal offering. However, not everyone is convinced that we’ll make it to Christmas. If you believe that the Mayans are correct and that the world will end on 21st December, we’ve got a SocialSafe theme for you too!
