SocialSafe v6.4.3 Released – Now Backing Up Pinterest And RSS

Today we’re very pleased to be telling you all about our latest release, SocialSafe v6.4.3, which adds another two supported networks to our already impressive roster. So as well as offering a comprehensive backup and aggregation service for Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Instagram, LinkedIn and Viadeo accounts, SocialSafe now allows its users to download Pinterest and RSS feeds to their own machines.

Writing is one of those things that can be very personal, requiring a lot of time, effort and thought, and anyone who writes regularly will know the sense of worry you feel when you think you may have lost an article. Another issue encountered by bloggers who write often and in more than one place, is trying to find a particular entry or a specific passage from an article that you can’t quite remember.

Thanks to our latest release of SocialSafe, you can not only backup and create a library of your blogs via RSS feed, you can also search across the entries for any keyword or phrase. As well as RSS, Pinterest users can now download, view, search and export their content, although because of the fact that the Pinterest API is not yet available, we’re using RSS to perform this function.

In addition to these new features, SocialSafe v6.4.3 sees some bug fixes. Facebook Photo download API bug is no more, so users who previously experienced issues will now be able to retrieve all photos, and the Facebook Messages Sync Stall problem has been resolved, meaning all users will now be able to successfully complete a Messages sync.

If you’re yet to create your library of you from your social networks, you can download the free 60 day trial for PC or Mac from the SocialSafe website.

We hope you all enjoy the latest release, and we look forward to showing what else we’ve got planned for SocialSafe when those new features are ready to see the light of day. Thank you for your continued support.

– Andrew, of behalf of the SocialSafe team.
