Disappointed By Closure Of Memolane? Look Back At Your Content With SocialSafe

The social network aggregation service Memolane announced yesterday that it would be shutting down today after two years in action. An email to users read:

“Here at Memolane, we’ve had an amazing two years helping people see, search and share all of their social media content from across the web. Our goal was to make it exciting to relive great adventures with friends… Unfortunately this also means that we will be shutting down the memolane.com service. Your account with Memolane and all its content will be deleted on Friday Feb. 22nd.”

They company also announced that the Memolane team are joining another company, and we’d like to take this opportunity to wish them well in all their future endeavours.

But if the sudden closure of Memolane has left you with ‘back up and search social network content’ shaped hole in your digital life, then fear not. With SocialSafe you can privately and securely back up the content from your various social networks to create your library of you.

All of the content is stored on your own PC or Mac, so whatever happens to the originals hosted on the networks themselves, you will always have a copy of your data. Whether you choose to browse by date, search across multiple networks, view content by type, or export to CSV, SocialSafe brings you memories to life so they are never forgotten.

For more information and to get started, simply visit the SocialSafe website and download the free trial for PC or Mac.

  1. I just couldn’t depart your website prior to suggesting that I really enjoyed the standard info a person provide for your visitors? Is going to be back often in order to check up on new posts
