SocialSafe v6.5.5 Released – ‘Remove Account’ Function, French Language Support & More

1 Comment on SocialSafe v6.5.5 Released – ‘Remove Account’ Function, French Language Support & More

This morning we ran our final checks and we’re pleased to announce that SocialSafe v6.5.5 has now been released. This latest update contains a variety of new features and improvements, so just open up SocialSafe and you should prompted to install the latest version. So let’s find out what’s new…

One feature that we know a lot of you have been requesting for quite some time is the ability to remove an account that you added in error or no longer use. To do this, simply got to the Accounts view and for the network you wish to remove, click on Settings>Remove Account. This won’t actually delete anything from the online account itself, but everything from that account that you have backed up within your SocialSafe will be deleted from your machine. We recommend that you export content from SocialSafe before removing any accounts.

Another big step we’ve been talking about for quite some time is foreign language support. This latest release sees French added as a language option within the app. We’re currently working on a host of others to be added in due course, but if you’d like to help us with the ongoing translation efforts then please get in touch!

We’ve also made a few Facebook API updates which were required by Facebook. Users must update to v6.5.5 to continue syncing Facebook Pages efficiently, but on the plus side this means that we are now able to offer support for Facebook Comment Replies.

Some other more technical adjustments include the resolution of the Twitter Verfication Code Login Issue that affected some users, as well as some other various bug fixes & UI enhancements.

As with everything we do, your opinions are very important to us, so if you have any thoughts on SocialSafe please get in touch through our Feedback Forum, or find us on Facebook and Twitter.
