Last week we released SocialSafe v6.5.5 that contained the long-awaited ‘Remove Account’ function. Lots of you had been requesting this for a while now, so we’re pleased to have finally incorporated into our release schedule.
If anyone was wondering how to actually remove an account from SocialSafe, it’s very simple, but we put together a quick video showing you exactly how to do it:

From the Accounts view click on Settings for the account you wish to remove, then click Remove Account. You’ll be asked to confirm that you do indeed want to delete the content, and once you give SocialSafe the go-ahead, the locally stored content backed up from that account will be deleted. This won’t actually alter anything in the online account itself, but we recommend that you export the content from SocialSafe before removing any accounts, just in case you may have deleted any of the originals on the networks in the mean time.
Over the coming months we’re going to be producing a number of videos to show you exactly how to use all of the features within SocialSafe, but – as with everything we do – we’d love to hear what you’d like to see next. If there’s something that you’re unsure of and would like to see a how-to guide, please let us know by leaving a comment, or get in touch via Facebook, Twitter or Google+.
