Facebook has extended its Photo Comments feature to Pages, a month after they were introduced to personal accounts. Not to be confused with comments on photos, this feature allows users to post a picture as a comment in response to posts.

To leave a photo comment, all you have to do is click the camera icon next to the comment box and upload an image from your computer. At this stage the feature isn’t available on the Facebook mobile app, but you can be sure that it won’t stay that way for long.
By allowing users to easily post pictures in response to a post from a Page, Facebook has given another way for admins to promote engagement between a brand and its fans. They say a picture paints a thousand words, and users can now show what they are thinking more easily in some cases by simply posting an image instead of explaining things in written language.
For Page Admins as well, it can make responding to posts from fans/customers a lot simpler too. Take for example ourselves – if a customer asks us where they can find a certain feature within the SocialSafe app, we can show them exactly where they need to be clicking by posting a screen shot. On a broader note, this also allows for visual aid to be given to individual customers through Facebook Pages without having to post images to the Page’s own albums and clogging up the Timeline.
