Today we released SocialSafe v6.4.4, the latest update to our social network backup tool. We’ve managed to make some improvements to the way that SocialSafe communicates with the various networks using their APIs, as well as some other general maintenance.
SocialSafe v6.4.4 includes:
- New User process & Add Network improvements
- API Timeout enhancements
- Twitter API migration. Sync is now more efficient & Private Twitter users are now able to download all of their data
- Improved feedback during Sync
- Preparatory work for Insights
- Bug fixes & UI enhancements
Our development team are continuing to work hard on ‘Insights’ which is a new range of analytic function, set to be included in the next major release of SocialSafe. Insights will allow you to see the content contained within your library of you in a whole new light. For example, you can see which of your photos gained the most likes, which status updates had the most comments from your friends, or which friend you interact with most.
There’s plenty more to say about Insights and what we’ve got planned for the next major release, but we don’t want to spoil the surprise just yet! If you haven’t used SocialSafe before, you can start building your own library of you by downloading the free 60 day trial for PC/Mac from our website.
