We’re delighted to be able to announce that digi.me won the Sopra Open Banking Challenge in Paris.
The aim of the challenge was to create an innovative services demo for banks that leverages Sopra’s Digital eXperience Platform (DxP)
Our solution, which explained how the banking sector can offer deep client engagement to consumers by offering personalised offers derived from digi.me users’ digital footprints, went down a storm.
Particular congratulations to Rupert Melsom, our VP of Business Development, who led the challenge bid, and our tech team who managed to get the Consent Certificate issued for the Sopra Demo Bank in a very tight turnaround.
Bruno Omerović (centre) and Irmin Dževlan (left, with Rupert), from our Sarajevo team, were on the spot in Paris and did a fantastic job creating an entirely new value proposition as a fully functional app, even connecting to the Sopra API.
Our prize is a strategic partnership with Sopra Banking Software’s parent company Sopra Steria, which will allow us to connect to their banking software solutions, and through that to dozens of banks and their customers.
